Lately, I have been having a hard time dealing with Robert being gone to work for 2 weeks at a time. I am so excited for him to come home on Tuesday. He will only be home for 1 week and then be gone again--I will be off from work the whole time he is home and I am SO excited about it! I guess you just go through these spells but this one is really bad--it had been hard to have him gone. I know that he is making a living for us and I appreciate it-but still REALLY, REALLY miss him so I am ready for him to get here!!!

The spa collection
The cake
The host family (Jennifer, Amanda and Julie)
Kaydee Bug
Mya Lou
The day started with sleeping in-then a few phone calls from well wishers. Danon, Chad, James and I went to a restaurant called Crescent City Grill in Hattiesburg for early dinner. We had a very nice time and GREAT food. I then went to Julie's house for the party!! It was so nice of them to have this for me. We hung out outside by the fire pit. The kids played and we laughed and laughed. I had a great birthday and am thankful for good friends!! Thanks to all of those that called and emailed me-I appreciate it!! One more thing I have been trying to get a hold of my friend Annalisa to wish her a happy Birthday--her b-day is the 19th and mine the 20th--so we have always kept in touch at least once a year-but I am having a hard time getting a hold of her this year--SO Happy Birthday Annie!!

OKAY, OKAY, this is no joke. I have never used the public restroom at the fair but this time I did. I have never been in a restroom that everyone can see you when you go--HELLO! I could not believe it. I said hello to the girl across the stall--This was out of control!!
Mark wanting this tractor and Danon laughing because they live in the city!!

USM Golden Eagles
10/13/07 THE GOLDEN EAGLES!! The stadium is called the ROCK!! It was homecoming and a great game. My friend Danon and her family invited me to go with them-we tailgated and had a good time.
Here is the whole gang--just a quick story-my frined Danon is in the front in the jacket-her fiance Mark is right behind her. Her uncle Wendall is in the sweater vest. This man is 90+ and was hitting on all of the woman that sat around us--he was even kissing on one--YOU GO WENDALL!!

3 WEEK DROUGHT!
It has been 3 weeks since I have posted anything. I can say that this 3 weeks has been VERY eventful. I am not going into all of the details but some life changes decisions have been made and I will share them at a later date.
There is something I would like to say and that is you never know how good or how bad something is until you step "outside" and look at the situation. I have come to realize that living in Mississippi is not healthy for me-spiritually, emotionally or physically. I am grateful for a husband that loves me and will stand by me through all of the DRAMA that living in Mississippi has brought on both of us. I want to tell him I am sorry and things will be better soon.
I have not had any "good" news to post and do not want to burden everyone with my life "CRAP". Okay-that is enough about all of that.
I did, however, go to a dog funeral on Sunday--quite the event. That was a first for me--and I am sure it was for the other 39 people there. I will post pictures when I get a chance.
I hope all is well with everyone and I will post later.

My Duty is Done
I have spent my last day on the Grand Jury. I have to say that is was not my most favorite thing to do! I have been there Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. I have heard some cases that you would not believe-and in 6 months when my gag order is up--there are a few I would like to share. This is a strange world and the laws of this nation makes justice hard at times.
We toured all of the county owned buildings on Monday and the prison/jail today. It is interesting to me that when you are sent to prison-you get A/C, TV, 3 big meals a day and all the free time you could ever want. I was disgusted at the fact that there are no work programs in this prison/jail. I mean-heck-WHAT? is the punishment? I am still in awe as to how all this is bad(I would love for someone to pay my bills and me to have free time all day)-and to top things off, they are building another basketball court for them because they do not have enough(playground) equipment---WHATEVER!!!! Plant a garden, make something--DO SOMETHING!! I understand that they can not go anywhere AT ALL--like I can, but to me prison should be punishment-not privileges.
I just stopped and thought about our first year of marriage and realized we did not have cable because we did not want to spend the money--we had 3 channels to watch on TV and they have satellite---FREE!!!! I work everyday and uphold the laws--they do not--they have TV--I did not----anything wrong with this picture?
I would like to say that if anyone gets the opportunity to serve on a Grand Jury--take it. It is the only was as citizens we can change things in our community that we live in. I am glad I did it.
